Victorria Barreras

Coordinating Director • Gold Star Daughter

Victorria Marilouisa Barreras is the Gold Star Daughter of Army Ranger and Marine Corps Veteran CSM Martin R. “Gunny” Barreras who Died of Wounds on 13 MAY 2014 suffered in Afghanistan on 06 MAY 2014.

Her first hand experience as a Gold Star Daughter drives her tireless motivation for the enduring success of the Mass Fallen Heroes mission. Born in Fort Lewis, WA and raised in Fort Benning, GA, Victorria is a Ranger Brat through and through.

She worked for the City of Quincy Arts and Tourism Department implementing grassroots programming with a focus on the arts and community engagement. She then went on to consult in Curation and Fine Art Sales at a prestigious gallery with the world’s largest private art collection. She then joined BNY Mellon’s Business Development team in Asset Servicing, Americas.

Victorria’s focus at Mass Fallen Heroes is driven by her dedication to the Military Family. Her passion developed while growing up helping run the Family Readiness Group while members of the Regiment were deployed. She grew up babysitting fellow Ranger Brats to include Gold Star Children. She has a demonstrated devotion to all Veteran and military family affairs and has implemented MFH Gold Star Gatherings with the team.

Victorria assists both the Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer with all accounting, project management, fundraising, and administrative procedures. She runs all social media and communications to both the public and Gold Star families. She works with the Director of Innovation on programming, digital content, social media strategy, and outreach. She also has the great pleasure of collaborating with the amazing MFH volunteer team to run operations for every monthly Sample Sale.

Victorria is an Honors Program graduate of Simmons College with a B.A. in Business and in Art History from the Arts Administration Program. She resides in Braintree with her two dogs.
